Dark Chocolate M&M Cookies

…melt in your mouth deliciousness

These cookies are beyond rich and creamy and are my go-to dessert when I’m craving a sweet treat with depth. The dough resembles a brownie-like texture that is smooth and silky. I hope you give this recipe a try!

Equipment

  • Stand or hand mixer (not necessary, but it does help the flavors meld better).

  • Paddle attachment

  • Cookie scoop or tablespoon

  • Cookie trays

  • Ice cream scoop for large cookies

Dry ingredients

  • 1 & 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • 1/4 cup white sugar

  • 1/2 cup 100% cacao powder

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 tbsp cornstarch

  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

  • 1 cup m&m’s

  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips

Wet ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened (can be salted or unsalted)

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract

For the cookies

  • Preheat oven to 350F line two cookie sheets with parchment paper or foil

  • Mix together well all wet ingredients - make sure to cream butter and sugar well

  • Slowly add in all your dry ingredients until combined

  • Once incorporated, mix in your white chocolate chips, mini chocolate chips and m&m’s

  • Depending on the size of your cookie scoop you’ll be able to get out about 12 large cookies (ice cream scoop size) or 30-tablespoon size cookies

  • For large cookies with a gooey center, bake on center rack at 350F for 12 minutes

  • For tablespoon cookies, bake for 10 minutes

  • Please note that these cookies tend to poof up in the oven and then flatten out once cooled
