Chocolate Buttercream
…so creamy and rich
This chocolate buttercream is beyond smooth and melt in your mouth diecious!
Equipment
Mixing bowl
Whisk
Measuring cups
For the icing
2 sticks of butter (room temperature)
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
4 tablespoons of cacao powder
1/2 cup of melted chocolate chips
2 cups of powdered sugar
Beat on high speed your butter, cacao powder, and vanilla extract for about 5 minutes
Next, add in your melted chocolate *note to let you chocolate cool down a little before adding to your butter - you do not want to melt it*
Beat until well incorporated
Next, slowly add in your 2 cups of powdered sugar until you’ve reached the desired consistency you’re looking for
Add a tablespoon or two to your icing if it becomes to stiff - it still needs to be malleable enough to pipe out.
